As you know, anyone that does serious fab work on bikes,go-karts,mini chops,etc. sooner or later has to have a tube bender. When I decided to build one, I could have went in the machine shop and tooled one up, but I wanted to fab it with hand fabrication tools. Cutting torch, welder,angle grinder, hand drill, and hacksaw. Most fabricators can do a fine job on the framework but the problem comes with the dies. My dies are 100% fabricated and work as good as machined dies. even if your not interested in the style of bender I have, the die building process can be used to construct dies for virtually any type of bender. By the way, the name "Tuber Bender" isn't a typo. A friend visiting the shop was looking the bender over and kept calling it that(Tuber Bender). Well you know when you hear that annoying song or jingle, and you can't get it out of your mind? The name just stuck, and that's what I call it now. (Gee thanks buddy!)
