The seat frame is made of 1/2" square tubing with the seat/spring mount being made of 1/8" x 2" flat. The front pivot mounting is machined from 1" bar stock to accept a 5/8" OD 1/2" ID bronz bushing. A shouldered bolt attached it to the frame ears.
The fender mounting is made of 1/8" x 3/4" flat that has been formed to fit the inside contour of the fender. The support rods are made of 3/8" round stock. The ends were heated, then squeezed flat in the press, dressed, and drilled for bolts. Click photos to Enlarge. |
