    Fabbing the forward controls. The lower tube is the foot rest, and the upper is a jack shaft for choice of left side foot shift or right side hand shift. This is made of 3/4" OD, 1/2" ID tubing. A 1/2" diameter shaft will serve as the jack shaft with a hand shift and linkage mounted on the right side, and a foot shift on the other side which will be made like the brake pedal that is shown here.
 
     
     
 
 
       The brake pedal and foot pegs are bored to slip over the 1" tube. Grooves were machined on the foot pegs. These will be covered with spray-on bed liner.
